HIllsborough County, Florida-- Celebrate St. Patricks Day by adopting a cat!

All during March, felines one-year and older are offered for the wee cost of just $20 --including spay/neuter surgery, vaccination, micro-chip, and license tag.

Hillsborough County Animal Services on Falkenburg Road is open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 a.m. for adoptions and lost pet searches.

Tampa, Florida -- Want to go for a walk? Chances are your dog does!

On Saturday, Jan. 26, there will be a community dog walk at Henry and Ola Park in Seminole Heights.

The 30-minute leisurely walk begins at 9:30 a.m.

The 'Pack Walks' are in support of an effort to build a dog park at Henry and Ola Park.

Organizers are in search of people interested in being a part of the project.

Tampa Veterinary Hospital is hosting a pet food drive through the month of December, and all proceeds will go to the homeless pets at the Lost Angels Animal Rescue in Tampa- a local no-kill animal rescue shelter dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of unwanted animals.
